AI-Memory Rally Lifts Momentum as S&P Stays Flat
Market Environment
Stocks finished mixed but constructive. The S&P 500 was basically flat, while Nasdaq, small caps, international equities, semiconductors, industrials, materials, health care, and biotech carried the better tone.
The clearest driver was the Micron-led AI-memory rally. Storage and semiconductor names attracted the strongest bid, while software and crypto-linked exposure lagged.
For traders, the message was constructive but selective: hardware and infrastructure momentum worked, but the tape was not lifting every high-beta pocket.
Quant Rockets Momentum Model
Quant Rockets had 30 positions up and 10 down, with the equal-weight book up roughly 3%. Strength clustered in SNDK, MU, SOXL, MKSI, ONTO, FLEX, and WDC, while DUOL, BE, CIFR, and CORZ showed the weaker side of the tape.

The Takeaway
The rules-based market health indicator remains in a Strong Swing Environment, and that reading has now persisted for 53 consecutive sessions.
The portfolio confirmed that backdrop today through broad participation across 40 positions, with the strongest gains concentrated in memory, storage, and semiconductor supply-chain exposure rather than broad speculative risk.
