AMD Is Now My Largest Momentum Position

AMD has broken to fresh highs on heavy volume, outperforming a semiconductor group still below its June peak. That relative strength, liquidity, and orderly consolidation made it the largest position in the Quant Rockets portfolio after Hewlett Packard reached its first profit target.

The longer-term setup remains constructive, but the stock is extended after a roughly 25% run. Existing holders can give the trend room to develop, while new buyers may be better served by starting small or waiting for a pullback instead of chasing the gap.
